FAVORITE VIDEOS OF ALL TIME #42.

When the video first came out in 2005, I thought this was a beautifully shot video. Now that I’m a little older, I still think this beautiful video — but my god, the subtle sexual undertones (or maybe I’m reading into things too much). Anyway, it makes me love the video more.

I watched this video over and over when it came out. I think I saw it first on MTV’s Subterranean (miss that show!), and yeah, it’s got sexual undertones out the wahzoo. Not to be crass, but it can’t be a coincidence that the director focused so much on Sherri DuPree’s rather close treatment of the microphone.
