As a part of the Adult Swim’s Singles Program my favorite Baltimore duo totally took their usual heavy sound and took a heavy influence from what Jenn Wasner has been experimenting with under her [amazing] solo project Flock of Dimes to create this sweeping repetition and rhythmic joy ride. Just heavy pop sensibilities and really pushing themselves sonically from what they’ve done before, perfect for a standalone track.
